hi folks Chris Anderson was not a comfort RV, but we just got a new motorhome in that we're kind of excited about so. I wanted to do a video right away, but it's really cold outside.
So, we are in the confines of our where our shop facility and really the coach is a little dirty right now it literally just rolled in. So, forgive me for that, but. I still wanted to show you the coach and hopefully you're as excited about it as we are this is a 2017 Gulfstream 24 foot BT cruiser built on the Ford e350 chassis now with the e350 you have a couple of engine options and those options are either the v8 engine or the v10 Gulfstream actually put in the v10 engine on this which for a Motorhome this size that's going to be a whole lot of horsepower going up and down the road.
So, you'll have no problems in the mountains or even. So, in the car because this will tow 5,000 pounds behind it Gulfstream actually invented the B+ Motorhome way back in the day and they've made a ton of them ever since. So, it's really exciting to have a kind of a new floor plan and a new concept let me show you some of the things on the outside and then we'll go in fact they did include running boards on this coach and as you can see they tried to take the the tan color combination and introduce that up into the cab and chassis area as well.
So, that's good we have a power awning and that does have an LED light built-in. So, you don't have to have any of the little lights hanging from your awning tube they do have outdoor speakers on here they're placed nice and down low, if you think about it when we're out here under our awning we're going to be sitting down. So, having the speakers way up here really doesn't make much sense it's much better to have them down low where you're actually going to be there are Class B plus motorhomes are always a little limited on storage, but we will look in all these compartments and see what we have there is definitely some outside storage on this one here we have the propane tank as you can see will step back one more and that's a nice little storage compartment this is a dual rear wheels of course fiberglass exterior and behind this fiberglass exterior there's not wood with most coaches behind the fiberglass exterior you have a wood substrate and, if that ever gets wet that's what causes we've all heard of RV delamination that's what causes RV delamination is the moisture gets behind this fiberglass and gets into that luan or wood substrate and that causes that they use a substrate called as Dell it's actually a composite material and even, if it ever were to get any water or moisture back in there it doesn't soak up the water it doesn't swell and it won't be laminate.
So, nice feature there even though it's a little dirty there's a nice one-piece molded fiberglass cap back here no seams seams are opportunities for leaks. So, no seams on this whatsoever and it's all one single piece and it looks good. So, nice molded cap 5000 pound towing hitch on this so, if you want to pull a small to mid-size vehicle behind you you certainly can that's kind of a new style for their taillights as well those are nice and big gravity fill for your freshwater tank right here come over to this side we can see we have one big full wall slide here okay and that's what kind of makes this floorplan unique and.
I'll show you when we go inside this is just behind this compartment you just have your sewer dump back there city water connection here and satellite TV hooks up here we have storage more storage here and then they ended up with some extra space in this when they laid out this floor plan. So, they actually came up with this this is big enough for a couple sets of golf clubs it's actually a really nice storage spot and it didn't sacrifice anything on the inside for that night behind this compartment we have the batteries for the house and then we have the 4k Onan generator behind this compartment all right well that kind of covers the outside of this coach. I know what you really want to see is the inside.
So, let's get to that right now hi folks Chris Anderson Mount Comfort RV we're on the inside of our Gulfstream actually. I said 2017 earlier on the video it's actually 2018 model model numbers 50 to 45 B. So, that's their floor plan and.
I want to show you the inside of this first of all though we have one rule to this you can't forget task for me, if you liked the video you liked the coach you want to come in and see it please do me a favor don't forget to ask for me when you come in thank you any questions don't hesitate call. So, we'll start pretty normal for - up front here this of course has your built-in radio and backup camera into the center of the dash there the one unique thing right below the steering wheel there they did include a built in brake controller with this coach so, if you do decide to tell anything behind this be it a car with a braking system on it or a trailer with a electric brakes on it it's already built in there that's one less thing you have to add. So, totally motor how much you can do that.
I've done this for a long time and that's not normal. So, kind of kind of a nice feature that they put in now up front here we have storage on either side and there's pretty roomy storage in here here's your privacy curtain that goes across the front pretty roomy storage this does come with a 32 inch LED TV it's currently sitting in the shower, but it comes with that and we've got more storage over here obviously a place you can put a DVD player and anything else that you would want up top. So, that's a little bit about the front end as we move around you kind of see this full wall slide we have a nice-sized booth which storage with storage under both sides and seat belts for seat belts in this booth we get that question a lot of humming seatbelts does have nice LED reading lights storage up above, but the storage is in a place where you it's not a head knocker when you're getting in and out of the of the booth.
So, many manufactures forget this or or go cheap and don't include it cup holders in the booth, if you've got passengers there riding back here they're going to have a beverage at some point and you said it here and because it's nice and smooth on the interstate and it's nice and smooth until somebody hits the brakes and then we've got a mess in our new Motorhome cupholders are such a simple thing, but like. I said manufacturers tend to overlook them over here this is a 24 foot motorhome with the double bowl sink not the norm usually on a 24 footer you're going to get a single bowl sink you also a lot of times end up with a two burner cooktop this actually has the three burner cooktop and it's the undermount with the glass cover over the top this just folds up and two nice things that they've done this is actually a solid surface countertop you've got a countertop extension over here by the door okay and then this is an actual tile backsplash a lot of the coaches these days are coming with a it's just like wallpaper it's like border instead of real tile that that's actually real tile. So, that's nice six cubic foot refrigerator gas and electric you have a microwave and an oven they didn't make you choose our air conditioning is ducted throughout this coach a lot of times again on a short motorhome they'll just use a drop-in unit instead of ducting it throughout and that's a lot noisier.
So, here we go a little nicer and look at this wardrobe closet in this motorhome and a pantry my favorite part about this motorhome 24 footer with a walk around queen bed typically you have to get 26 27 feet long to get around to get a walk-around queen you can actually walk all the way around and. I'm no small guy one of the complaints we get with these motor homes with corner beds is somebody has to climb over somebody else to get up in the middle of the night and everybody's awake and it's a big mess it's not the case here you can absolutely get up make your way to the bathroom speaking out let's take a look at the bathroom now on 24 footers of course it's going to be a little small, but there's room in here. I've got a decent very decent sized shower toilet vanity hiding back behind the door there that's tough for us to film, but.
I think you get the point. So, here's a 24-foot Motorhome with decent storage on the outside really nice storage on the inside. I'll walk around queen bed and we're going to have a heck of a sale price on it.
So, give me a call let me know when you'd like to come see this motorhome please come in and test drive it it's very well built. I forget to mention fiberglass roof one piece fiberglass roof on this coach almost forgot. So, there you go hope you've enjoyed the video don't forget that for me and.
I hope to see you soon.
